New Years Resolutions!!

With 2011 being just two days away, many of you may have already begun thinking about, or working on your new years resolution. If you're anything like me, however, you don't even bother to make a resolution.  I tend to follow the resolution for about a week or two and then it's back to old ways. Nevertheless, January 1st typically signifies a new breath, a new outlook, a new day, and an overall fresh start. So, what are some of your resolutions? What are some things you will swear off in 2011? Will you even make a resolution? Share your thoughts!

This collection is good for those of you who do not have enough time or energy to commit to going to get a manicure, OPI is a great nail polish that you can apply yourself without subjecting your fabulosity! 


This collection provides a nice variety of colors with very pretty glitter and shimmer finishes. Perfect for providing your nails with the POP that may be needed to set off an outfit or match with your shoes or accessories. Although I have not personally tried this polish yet, I would highly recommend it because OPI is a great brand, with quality colors. A winter MUST-HAVE!

Kandi Burruss Hair....Love It? or Hate It?

For those of you who indulge in Real Housewives of Atlanta every Sunday (or Monday) night on Bravo, you have the opportunity to see the ladies rocking various hairstyles that you might even want to try for yourself. Kandi Burruss seems to be the only lady who really, constantly experiments with her hair. Kim rocks that same ol' tired looking wig; Sheree goes between rocking some weave and her real hair, sometimes curling it or wearing it straight; Nene rocks that 27 piece looking wig; Phaedra wears her real hair either straight down or curled; and Cynthia....well....no comment. Kandi, however, plays with her cut and color very often, but what do you guys think of her hair now?

Personally, I was a huge fan of her hair during the 2nd season of RHOA. Her hair was short and blonde and she seemed to be able to wear it in a variety of styles. The blonde was very pretty on her and complimented her skin tone very nicely, which is huge because not every Black woman can pull off blonde hair without looking ghetto.  But this season....not so much. The cut seems a bit weird; I can't get a feel for what type of style she was going for. The bright, kool-aid color is not very classy either, it does NOTHING for her face and doesn't compliment her skin like the blonde did/does.  I believe she now has the blonde back but it's mixed in with black on the sides, and I don't know how the cut is. What do you guys think?
